NCC Men's Basketball traveled to Paragould, Arkansas to take on Crowley's Ridge College on January 12.
Crowley's Ridge started off strong and gained the early lead over the Sentinels (7-14). With just under 11 minutes remaining in the first half, NCC managed to secure their first lead of the game (17-16) and slowly began to build a slight lead over Crowley's Ridge. At the half, NCC held an 8-point advantage (44-36).
Coming out of halftime, Crowley's Ridge began to threaten NCC's lead, cutting the lead to one point four times early on the second half. The Sentinels managed an 11-2 run, giving them a 10-point advantage midway through the half (68-58). Crowley's Ridge's last push at regaining the lead fell short handing the Sentinels their fourth consecutive win (90-85).
DJ Hanes led the Sentinels with 34 points.
TJ Rivera added 13 points and 6 assists and
Devin Jones totaled 11 points.
For Crowley's Ridge, Beau Gramling finished with 20 points.
Next, the Sentinels will host Morningside College on Wednesday, January 16 at 7p.m.
