Major: Sports Management

2017-2018: Rivera averaged 10.9 points per game, 3.3 rebounds per game, and led the team in assists with 3.1 assists per game. Rivera totaled 295 points, 84 assists, 32 steals, and 90 rebounds after 27 games of play. Rivera was also a member of the Dean's list both semesters.

High School: Rivera was a member of the varsity basketball team all four years of high school. He averaged 20.1 points per game, 7.4 assists per game. He holds the school record for assists per game, season, and career. He also holds the school record for most 3's in a game, season, and career. He holds the school record for free throws. He was named 1st team All-Disrict, 1st team All-Conference, and All-State Honorable Mention. Rivera's team went 17-6 his senior year and made it to the District finals. His team also won the Holiday tournament. His team finished 2nd in regular season wins. Rivera also played football, track, and baseball. His track team were the conference champions in the 4x8 and 4x1 and 3rd at districts in the mile. Rivera was 1st team All-Conference for baseball in his sophomore year. For football, Rivera was All-Conference Honorable Mention as a wide receiver and safety. Rivera was also on the honor roll for all four years of high school.

Favorite Bible Verse: Deuteronomy 31:6, "Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you."
