Men's Basketball Bounces Back at KCC

OVERLAND PARK, KS - Nebraska Christian Men's Basketball traveled south to take on Kansas Christian College. A win for the Sentinels would ensure a winning season and a loss would drop them to .500 with a game remaining. The Sentinels rose to the challenge and exploded for 90 points. NCC would clinch a winning season by a final of 90-77. The offensive was clicking early as the Sentinels took a 41-28 lead into the half. NCC came out of the locker room strong again and pushed the lead to 26 points on a transition 3 by Drue Aguilera with 10 minutes remaining in the game. Kansas Christian would mount a small rally, but the Sentinels would hold for the victory.

Isaiah Collier was scorching for the Sentinels scoring a game-high 23 points and grabbing a game-high 11 rebounds. Collier also added 5 assists to his double-double. Drue Aguilera added 19 points including shooting 5 of 6 from long range. Uzi Felix scored his 18 points on an efficient 8-11 off the bench to add a scoring punch for the second unit. The Sentinels look spectacular on offense and started to round into form as they are gearing up for post season play.

Nebraska Christian has one more regular season game at Dakota State University (Madison, SD) on February 18th.
