OVERLAND PARK, KS - Nebraska Christian Men's Basketball traveled south to take on Kansas Christian College. A win for the Sentinels would ensure a winning season and a loss would drop them to .500 with a game remaining. The Sentinels rose to the challenge and exploded for 90 points. NCC would clinch a winning season by a final of 90-77. The offensive was clicking early as the Sentinels took a 41-28 lead into the half. NCC came out of the locker room strong again and pushed the lead to 26 points on a transition 3 by
Drue Aguilera with 10 minutes remaining in the game. Kansas Christian would mount a small rally, but the Sentinels would hold for the victory.
Isaiah Collier was scorching for the Sentinels scoring a game-high 23 points and grabbing a game-high 11 rebounds. Collier also added 5 assists to his double-double.
Drue Aguilera added 19 points including shooting 5 of 6 from long range.
Uzi Felix scored his 18 points on an efficient 8-11 off the bench to add a scoring punch for the second unit. The Sentinels look spectacular on offense and started to round into form as they are gearing up for post season play.
