OMAHA, NE - The Sentinel Women's Basketball Team hosted Ecclesia College for the second matchup of a home and home this year. Earlier this year, the Sentinels secured a 69-50 victory on the road. Nebraska Christian did not let off the gas in this contest either. NCC jumped out to a 21-13 lead after quarter 1, and followed it with a 27-13 2nd quarter. The 22 point half team lead grew to a 36 point victory. The Sentinels won 92-56 and didn't give up more than 15 points in a quarter.
Nebraska Christian had a great team victory in this one. In the backcourt,
Justys Irish and
Jazmyne Santiel posted 28 and 25 points respectively. Additionally,
Jessica Hinde produced an 11-11 double-double with rebounds and assists. In the front court,
Camry Porter had a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Bianca Casares also contributed 14 points and 8 rebounds.
The Sentinels look to keep this momentum rolling when they play at Kansas Christian on Thursday, February 6th. This will be the first of a home and home matchup with KCC.
