OMAHA, NE - Nebraska Christian College hosted Central Christian College of the Bible on Monday night. This marks the second meeting of the year between the two schools. NCC ran away with the first meeting, but that would not be the story in 2020. The Sentinels led by just 1 after the 1st quarter and were held to only 13 points. CCCB stayed within striking distance as they were down just 12 heading into halftime. The Saints worked hard, but could not get the game much closer than that. The home team Sentinels spurred off any run and coasted to a victory. The 61-48 win secured the season sweep for Nebraska Christian.
The Sentinels were led in scoring by
Jazmyne Santiel who had a game high 28 points. Santiel also contributed greatly on the defensive end with 7 rebounds, 6 steals and 4 blocks.
Jessica Hinde was the perfect facilitator yet again for NCC dishing out 8 assists, grabbing 10 rebounds and scoring 4 points.
The Sentinels will have another quick turnaround as they face off against fellow Omaha school, College of Saint Mary's Tuesday, January 7th.
