OMAHA, NE - The Nebraska Christian College Men's Basketball Team ran into another top NAIA DII program in Dordt University on Saturday, January 11th. The Defenders have been in the NAIA DII polls this year and are currently receiving votes. NCC looked to grab an upset at DJ Sokol Arena, but the hot shooting of Dordt was on display early. The Sentinels hung tough early in the game, but they couldn't keep up with the long-range shots of Dordt. The Defenders would go on to win with a final score of 87-42.

The Sentinels will travel to Lawrence, KS to play Haskell Indian Nation University on Wednesday, January 15th. This game is rematch of the tightly contested game at the NCC/Bellevue Classic earlier this year. In November, the Sentinels were able to take the victory and look to finish the season sweep on the road. The game tips off at 7:00pm and will be live-streamed.
