NCC Men's Basketball played their third and final game at Nationals in Winona Lake, Indiana taking on the #7 seed Piedmont International University on March 15.
The Sentinels struggled to get offense flowing in the first half, allowing a 12-0 run to start the game. NCC worked to make up the deficit but they couldn't connect, shooting 28% from the field while Piedmont shot 57% from the field, putting NCC down by 23 points at the half (19-42). In the second half, Piedmont continued their offensive momentum and in the end, the Sentinels suffered the 30-point loss (53-83).
Chris Pendley led all scorers with 19 points.
Devin Jones added 10 points followed by
Jontay Williams with 8 points.
For Piedmont, Tamir Glenn scored 18 points.
