NCC Women's Basketball hosted Ecclesia College on February 9.
The Sentinels got off to a solid start on a 19-3 run. At the end of the first quarter, NCC led by 16 points (22-6). In the second quarter, the Sentinels continued to build on their lead, extending it to 26 points at the half (39-13).
NCC continued their offensive momentum carrying a 21-0 run from the 5:35 mark in the second quarter until 6:42 remaining in the third quarter (49-13). NCC led by as many as 49 points and held on to a 46-point lead as the third quarter came to a close (70-24). In the fourth quarter, the Sentinels continued to dominate and secured the 44-point win against Ecclesia (86-42).
Jazmyne Santiel totaled 32 points and 8 rebounds.
Kayla Bloodworth added 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 blocks.
Jessica Hinde finished with 5 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists.
For Ecclesia, Tierra Holliman finished with 15 points.
Next, the Sentinels will host Presentation College on Monday, February 11 at 7p.m.
