OMAHA, NE - The Nebraska Christian College Women's Basketball Team hosted the Presentation College Saints in an effort to start their first winning streak of the season. The Sentinels had a 1 point lead after the first quarter, but the Saints won the second and took a 3 point lead into the half. However, the Sentinels would not be denied and took a 5 point lead into the fourth. Down the stretch, NCC was able to stretch the lead to 10 to win the game with a final score of 65-55.
Jazmyne Santiel turned in an incredible performance nearly tallying a triple-double with 27 points, 11 rebounds, and 7 assists.
Camry Porter and
Jessica Hinde each contributed with 16 points and 10 points respectively.
The Sentinel Women have now won 2 in a row and seem to finding their team identity. NCC will next play Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO on December 10th.
