DALLAS, TX - The Sentinel Men's Basketball Team faced off against Dallas Christian College on Friday night. Dallas Christian had a great crowd for this contest including some NCC fans. Nebraska Christian's
Jeremiah Coleman and
Jordan Makanjuola are both from Texas and felt right at home with family in the stands. The Sentinels played well for their teammates jumping out to a 42-29 halftime lead. Coleman played particularly well in his hometown scoring 6 first half points in a perfect 3-3 from the field performance. NCC would coast in the second half winning 71-55.
Jeff Butler led the way for the Sentinels scoring a team high 20 points including 6-6 from 3 point range.
Uzi Felix chipped in 2 more 3-pointers and 17 total points for the cause.
NCC will take on Southwest Adventist University Saturday before returning to Omaha.
