HAVILAND, KS - The Sentinel Men's Basketball Team found themselves in a barn-burner at Barclay College. The Bears came out swinging and scored 44 first half points to take a 2 point lead into half time. However, the Sentinel defense took control of the game down the stretch and held the Bears to just 28 points in the second half. The Sentinels were able to escape Haviland with a 6 point victory, with a score of 78-72, thanks to made free throws down the stretch.
The Sentinel offense was extremely balanced in this one.
Uzi Felix (16),
Jordan Makanjuola (16) and
Drue Aguilera (15) were the 3 Sentinels in double figures. Additionally, the other 6 Sentinels that played all scored at least 2 points to add to the cause.
NCC, now 4-2, will play Central Christian College of the Bible on Tuesday, November 19th.
