NCC Women's Basketball hosted Ozark Christian College on January 7.
Ozark Christian was first to score out of the gate but the Sentinels quickly gained control of the game from there. After the first quarter, NCC had a 21-point lead (29-8). The Sentinels continued to build on their lead in the second quarter, securing a 41-point advantage going into halftime (52-11).
Coming out of halftime, NCC picked up where they left off in the first half, extending their lead to 56 after the third quarter (74-18). In the end, the Sentinels came out with a commanding 72-point victory over Ozark Christian (94-22).
Another team effort from the Sentinels led to every player adding points to the board.
Alexis Frondarina led the way with 22 points along with 4 assists.
Jazmyne Santiel contributed 13 points and 5 assists.
Kayla Bloodworth recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Bloodworth also had 5 blocks and 4 steals.
Bianca Casares added 12 points followed by
Camry Porter with 11.
For Ozark Christian, Sarah Dodson scored 7 points.
Next, the Sentinels will travel to Springdale, Arkansas to take on Ecclesia College on Friday, January 11 at 5p.m.
