NCC Women's Basketball traveled to Springdale, Arkansas to take on Ecclesia College on January 11.
 
Both teams started out well offensively, getting early points on the board for both sides. At the end of the first quarter, NCC held a 5-point lead over Ecclesia (22-17).  The Sentinels extended their lead to double digits and secured a 16-point lead going into halftime (48-32).
 
Coming out of halftime, both teams played evenly, leaving the Sentinels' advantage at 16 points at the end of the third quarter (67-51). NCC extended their lead in the fourth quarter and came put with the 25-point win over Ecclesia (96-71).
 
Jazmyne Santiel finished with 29 points followed by Alexis Frondarina with 21 points. Frondarina also led the team in assists with 6. Kayla Bloodworth ended with 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 blocks. Jessica Hinde totaled 13 points and 5 assists.
 
For Ecclesia, Taylor Kirk scored 16 points followed by Tierra Holliman with 15 points.
 
Next, the Sentinels will travel to Paragould, Arkansas to take on Crowley's Ridge College on Saturday, January 12 at 2p.m.
