NCC Men's Soccer hosted Calvary University on September 24.
The Sentinels came out strong in the first half and cut through Calvary's defense to score the first goal of the game, putting NCC up 1-0. As the first half continued, the Sentinels managed another goal, giving them the 2-point advantage. At the half, NCC led Calvary 2-0.
In the second half, the Sentinels continued to attack but weren't able to convert. Both teams remained scoreless until the last five minutes of play. Calvary scored in the closing minutes of the game, making the final score 2-1 in favor of the Sentinels.
Jael Resendiz and
Luis Lemus each score one goal for the Sentinels.
For Calvary, Masaki Ouchi scored one goal.
Next, the Sentinels will host Barclay College on Thursday, September 27 at 4p.m.
