NCC Men's Soccer hosted Barclay College on September 27.
The Sentinels started out strong offensively and scored a goal in the first few minutes of play. NCC continued to push offensively but were unable to convert through the rest of first half. At the half, the Sentinels led 1-0.
In the second half, NCC picked up offensive momentum scoring an impressive seven goals, while only allowing one for Barclay. In the end, the Sentinels pulled off back-to-back victories, with the 8-1 win over Barclay.
Luis Lemus, and
Zach Gomez, and
Efren Morones each scored two goals and
Dakota Fox and
Jael Resendiz each scored one goal. Goalkeeper
Eddy Gomez recorded 5 saves for the Sentinels.
For Barclay, Will Hoving scored one goal.
Next, the Sentinels will host Manhattan Christian College on Saturday, September 29 at 2p.m.
