NCC Women's Basketball hosted Kansas Christian College on December 4.
Kansas Christian opened the game on a 9-2 run, putting the Sentinels down 7 early in the first quarter. NCC answered with a 13-0 run giving them the 15-10 lead over Kansas Christian. The Sentinels continued to build on their lead and went into halftime with a 17-point lead (34-17).
In the second half, NCC continued with their offensive momentum and built their lead up to 31 points by the end of the third quarter (57-26). The Sentinels out scored Kansas Christian 23-10 in the fourth quarter securing the 44-point victory for the Sentinels (80-36).
Jazmyne Santiel put together a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds and
Kayla Bloodworth also recorded a double-double with 14 points and 12 blocks.
For Kansas Christian, Monique Hunt led the way with 17 points.
Next, the Sentinels will host Barclay College on Friday, December 7 at 5p.m.
