NCC Women's Basketball hosted Barclay College on December 7.
The Sentinels started off with a 9-1 lead. At the end of the first quarter, NCC maintained the 8-point lead (15-7). In the second quarter, the Sentinels continued to build on their lead and built it up to as many as 20 points. Going into to halftime, NCC led by 18 (38-20).
The Sentinels picked up where the left off in the first half and gained their largest lead of the game at 28 points to end the third quarter (58-30). Made free throws from Barclay in the fourth quarter tightened the score but in the end, the Sentinels secured the 15-point win (65-50).
Jazmyne Santiel put up back-to-back double-doubles with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Bianca Casares also finished with 11 points.
Kayla Bloodworth finished with 10 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 blocks.
For Barclay, Sarah Easterwood had 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Next, the Sentinels will travel to Forest City, Iowa to take on Waldorf University on Thursday, December 13 at 5p.m.
