NCC Women's Basketball traveled to Omaha, Nebraska to take on College of Saint Mary of October 31.
 
The Sentinels were first to score and exchanged baskets for the remainder of the quarter. At the end of the first quarter, NCC trailed by a point (15-16). Saint Mary built their lead up to 9 points at the beginning of the second quarter, but the Sentinels were able to cut the lead back down to 2 at the half. Going into halftime, NCC trailed by a bucket (31-33).
 
In the second half, Saint Mary began to extend their lead, culminating in a 13-point advantage at the end of the third quarter (46-59). NCC cut the lead down to 7 with just under 4 minutes remaining, however they were unable to overcome the deficit resulting in the 64-73 loss to Saint Mary.
 
Kayla Bloodworth grabbed her 1,000^th rebound and secured a double-double with 22 points and 19 rebounds. Bloodworth also had 8 blocks. Alexis Frondarina added 20 points followed by Jazmyne Santiel with 14 points.
 
For Saint Mary, Corryne Millett had 35 points.
 
Next, the Sentinels will participate in the Bellevue University Classic in Bellevue, Nebraska on November 1 and 3. First NCC will face Oklahoma Wesleyan University on Thursday, November 1 at 5p.m.
