NCC Women's Basketball traveled to Bellevue, Nebraska to take on Bellevue University on November 13.
Bellevue started on a 13-2 run and held on to a steady lead for the remainder of the game. At the end of the first quarter, the Sentinels trailed by 10 (14-24). Bellevue continued their offensive momentum with a 14-0 run to open the second quarter, going into halftime, NCC was down by 29 points (21-50).
In the second half, Bellevue continued to score, holding a 51-point lead going into the fourth quarter (30-81). Bellevue showed no signs of letting up in the fourth quarter, ending with their largest lead of the game at 61 points (44-106).
Camry Porter finished with 11 points, followed by
Alexis Frondarina with 10.
Kayla Bloodworth totaled 10 rebounds.
For Bellevue, Jamie Winkler had 22 points.
Next, the Sentinels will host Waldorf University on Friday, November 16 at 7p.m.
