The NCC Men's Soccer Team traveled to Kansas City, MO on Friday, September 13th for a rematch with Calvary University. The first matchup featured a coming out party for the Sentinel offense and it wasn't forgotten by the Warriors. This game was a hard-fought battle in which the Sentinels secured a 3-2 victory to complete the season sweep of Calvary.

The game remained scoreless until Hezrom Onchomba (FR) scored the first goal of his college career in the 35th minute of the first half. The Warriors kept pace with a goal of their own. RaShawn Jackson (FR) put the Sentinels ahead again in the 65th minute of the contest, but the Warriors quickly answered to even the score. Tyler Hepner (FR) would put the Sentinels up for good in the 76th minute with his first career goal.

After the game, Coach Tosaya was very happy with the effort from his team and excited for his freshmen to score their first career goals. He was also pleased that the Sentinels hung tough and closed out the game against "a much-improved Warriors team." "This was our first close game of the year and we are pleased with how well the guys responded and closed out the game."

Calvary will take on Ecclesia College at home on Tuesday. The NCC Sentinels improve to 2-3-0 on the season. NCC Men and Women will be in Leavenworth, KS on Wednesday, September 18th for a double-header against University of St. Mary.
