OMAHA, NE - The NCC Sentinel Women's Basketball Team hosted Cottey College for their second contest of the Nebraska Christian College/Bellevue Classic. The Sentinels gave a great effort, but fell just short of a come from behind victory. Cottey College got out to 5 point lead after the first quarter. NCC would make runs at that lead, but couldn't quite cut into it for good. Cottey would win by a final score of 68-59.
The Sentinels were led by sophomore
Camry Porter who contributed a quality 11 points and 9 rebounds.
Jazmyne Santiel led all scorers again with 32 points in her 40 minutes of play. The Sentinels will look to rebound against Waldorf on November 6th in Forest City, IA.
