Sentinels Fall Just Short To Concordia

OMAHA, NE - Nebraska Christian College hosted Concordia University. Concordia brought their 5-1 record to Omaha and got all they could handle from the Sentinels. NCC held the Bulldogs to a respectable 38 first half points, but could only generate 28 of their own. NCC made several runs in the second half getting the lead down to as few as 6, but Concordia was able to hold on to secure a 12 point victory with a score of 70-58.

Coach Williams was very proud of the Sentinels' effort after the game. "Concordia is a really good team with experienced players. Year after year they are held in high regard so to compete in this game is the first step for us this year. Of course, we would like to take care of the ball a little better, but we are making progress. I'm really enjoying the process with this team and am excited for where we can get." Drue Aguilera gave the Sentinels a game high 26 points and Uzi Felix also contributed 11.

The Sentinels will play in Sioux Falls, SD against NCAA D2 Augustana University on Monday before heading into Thanksgiving break.
