McPHERSON, KS - Nebraska Christian College faced off with the host school of the Classic for Christ, Central Christian College, and presented quite the challenge. CCC had been rolling to start this young season and held just a 7 point lead over NCC going into the break. The Sentinel defense was stifling in the first half and kept the game close. Despite making a few runs, NCC could just not close the gap in the second half. CCC veteran leadership kept the visiting Sentinels at bay to earn a 71-60 victory.
Uzi Felix led the Sentinels with 16 points.
Kyle Bohuslavsky stuffed the stat sheet with 5 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists across 38 minutes of work.
NCC moved to 3-2 after the Classic for Christ and will be in action again with an exhibition at Wayne State College on Wednesday.
