On Tuesday, October 8th the Nebraska Christian College Women's Soccer Team hosted Randall University at The Springfield Soccer Complex. Randall would go on to win by a total score of 3-0.
Randall started the game off well and scored at the 3:30 mark. The Sentinels made a few adjustments and played tremendous defense following the early goal. Despite the Saints controlling possession for the majority of the game and taking over 30 shots, the Saints were only able to convert 2 more goals on the day (44:00 and 67:36).
Camry Porter put in a solid performance with 10 saves and
Giovanna Lopez made an impact defensively. However, the Sentinels could not get any offense going due to injuries to some of their key offensive players.
Randall University improved to 3-7-0 on the year and will host Faith Baptist on October 12th. Nebraska Christian moved to 1-6-0 and will be back in action on Friday, October 11th when they host Lincoln Christian at 4:00 PM at Morrison Stadium.
