NCC Men's Soccer kicked off their home games by hosting Bethany Lutheran College on September 1.
Both teams started out with strong defense, near the end of the first half, Bethany Lutheran found a gap and managed to score three goals in the last fifteen minutes of the half, giving them the 3-0 edge over the Sentinels at the half.
In the beginning of the second half, Bethany scored again, increasing their lead to 4-0. In the closing minutes of the game NCC's
Zach Gomez got through the defense and managed to score a goal, making the score 4-1. One final goal from Bethany Lutheran made the final score 5-4 in favor of Bethany Lutheran.

For Bethany Lutheran, Johnathan Sehloff scored two goals.
Next, the Sentinels will host Ottawa University on Wednesday September 5 at 4p.m.
