NCC Women's Soccer traveled to Yankton, South Dakota to take on Mount Marty College on September 8.
 
A shorthanded NCC team got off to a rough start against Mount Marty, quickly finding themselves down 3 goals in the first fifteen minutes of the first half. The Sentinels were able to hold off Mount Marty for the remainder of the first half, making the score at the half 0-3 in favor of Mount Marty. In the second half, Mount Marty came out strong and managed to score 6 goals throughout the half. In the end, NCC suffered the 0-9 loss to Mount Marty.
 
Goalkeeper Jessica Hinde recorded 13 saves for the Sentinels.
 
For Mount Marty, Torrye Provencher scored three goals.
 
Next, the Sentinels will host Manhattan Christian College on Saturday, September 29 at 4p.m.
