NCC Men's Soccer traveled to Ankeny, Iowa to take on Faith Baptist Bible College on September 11.
Both teams maintained solid defense throughout the entire first half, neither team managing to score, leaving the score at the half 0-0.
In the second half, Faith found an opening and scored, giving Faith the one-point advantage. NCC was quick to counter, with
Zach Gomez scoring a goal in the next minute of play, tying the score 1-1. As the second half came to a close, Faith had scored two more goals, making the final score 1-3 in favor of Faith.
Zach Gomez scored one goal for the Sentinels and goalkeeper
Dakota Fox recorded 6 saves.
For Faith, Jordan Schmidt recorded one goal and 2 assists.
Next, the Sentinels will host Southwestern College in a scrimmage on Saturday, September 15 at 2p.m.
