NCC Falls to Grace
NCC Women's Basketball close the season by traveling to Omaha, Nebraska to take on Grace University on February 21.
The Sentinels got off to a slow start a quickly found themselves down double digits in the first quarter. Going into the second quarter, NCC trailed 8-24. The Sentinels struggled to score in the second quarter and were down 10-37 going into halftime.
In the second half, NCC started to gain some offensive traction and outscored Grace 20-16 in the third quarter. At the end of the third quarter, the Sentinels trailed 30-53. The Sentinels struggle to score in the fourth quarter. In the end, NCC suffered the 37-68 loss.
Alexis Frondarina ended with 15 points and 5 steals.
Kayla Bloodworth recorded her 18th double-double of the season with 15 points and 18 rebounds. Bloodworth also blocked 8 shots.
Grace's leading scorer was Karen Orozco with 16 points.
