NCC Women's Basketball traveled to Moberly, MO to take on Central Christian College of the Bible on November 16.
 
Both teams exchanged buckets in the opening minutes of the game, neither team gaining a clear advantage. In the middle of the first quarter the Sentinels went on an 8-0 run, giving NCC a 9-point lead (17-8). At the end of the first quarter the Sentinels led CCCB 23-15. During the second quarter NCC's lead was threatened with CCCB coming within 2 points (29-27). The Sentinels managed to hold onto their lead and extended it to 9 by the end of the half, leading CCCB 40-31.
 
In the third quarter CCCB again came within 2 points of the Sentinels, but NCC did not allow them to come any closer. An 8-0 run to close the quarter extended the Sentinels lead to 12 (64-52). NCC continued their run in the fourth quarter with 10 unanswered points to open the quarter, pushing their lead to 22 points. In the end, the Sentinels came out with the 82-68 victory.
 
Kayla Bloodworth recorded her fifth double double of the season with 22 points and 16 rebounds. Bloodworth also had 6 blocks, 4 assists and 3 steals. Alexis Frondarina totaled 19 points and 8 assists. Aleita Amparan had 17 points.
 
CCCB's leading scorers were Amber Grimes and Crystal Eureste each with 20 points.
 
Next, the Sentinels will travel to Forest City, IA to take on Waldorf University on Monday, November 20 at 5:30p.m.
