The Sentinels Defeat Barclay
NCC Women's Basketball hosted Barclay College on November 11.
The Sentinels started the game with a 13-0 run. After the first quarter, NCC led 21-6. The Sentinels continued to build on their lead during the second quarter. At the half, NCC led 37-18.
NCC came out of the half with a 13-2 run, extending their lead to 30 (50-20). At the end of the third quarter, the Sentinels led 68-29. NCC continued to build on their lead in the fourth quarter and finished with the 47-point victory over Barclay (84-37).
Tristyn Dunivant led the Sentinels in scoring with a career high 22 points shooting 54% from beyond the arc and 61% from the field. Aleita Amparan had 14 points in 18 minutes of play. Kayla Bloodworth was one block shy of a triple double with 12 points, 16 rebounds, and 9 blocks. Alexis Frondarina was one assist shy of a double double with 10 points, 9 assists.
Barclay's leading scorer was Kali Meadows with 11 points followed by Hannah Brown with 10 points.
Next, the Sentinels will travel to York, NE to take on York College on Monday, November 13 at 6p.m.
