NCC Women's Soccer traveled to Lincoln, Illinois to take on Lincoln Christian University on October 20.
Both teams started off strong defensively, holding each other scoreless for the majority of the first half. NCC was the first to score, giving them the early 1-0 lead. As the first half came to a close, Lincoln Christian managed to tie the game 1-1.
At the beginning of the second half, the Sentinels regained the lead 2-1. As the game came to a close, NCC scored back-to-back goals, increasing their lead to 4-1. In the end, the Sentinels secured their second win in a row with the 4-1 victory over Lincoln Christian.
Naomi Boland recorded the first Hat trick in NCC Women's Soccer history, with three goals scored.
Giovanna Lopez also added a goal for the Sentinels and goalkeeper
Paige Hickey recorded three saves.
For Lincoln Christian, Abigail Crockett scored one goal.
Next, the Sentinels will host Faith Baptist Bible College on Monday, October 22 at 3:30p.m.
